This space was created to feature rotating commercial furniture vignette collaborations between contract furniture manufacturers and a leading contract furniture dealer in the bay area. It pioneered the stand alone ancillary showroom concept for office furniture dealerships in the bay area who had previously only showcased workstations and ergonomic seating in their “working showrooms”. The space planning, FF&E selection, and logistics fell to myself.

Ancillary Spaces For tech company sF office

The idea behind this conceptual space proposed to a tech company in San Francisco was to use furniture as architecture. The goal was to visually define spaces within an open setting using adaptive product. None of the furniture or mobile glass walls could be permanently attached to the building structure. Areas highlighted are lounge, main thoroughfare, and café.

Ancillary Spaces For Tech Startup SF

Proposed space plan and FF&E selection were to be considered for an all-hands/collaboration area and dining space. The direction from the financial tech startup was to be colorful, warm, but contemporary as they were on the verge of going public and wanted their new office to exude the energy of the brand.
